The Taylor Scholars Awards Program is a statewide program that rewards students in grades 6 through 12 with a GPA of 2.5 or higher with free access to Audubon Aquarium, Audubon Insectarium, Audubon Zoo, and New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA).*
The program is open to all Louisiana students in grades 6 through 12, whether attending public, private,
or parochial schools.
Complimentary admission for the Taylor Scholars and up to four guests on Taylor Family Free Days.
TAYLOR SCHOLARS BENEFITS
Unlimited complimentary admission for one year for the Taylor Scholars and two guests.

Principals, Teachers, Counselors and School Officials: Submit the number of qualifying students to TaylorAwards@bellsouth.net by April 13, 2023 and we will ship blank award certificates for you to personalize and distribute to students.
Taylor Scholars Awards Program FAQs
How do students qualify?
All students within grades 6-12 at participating schools, earning a 2.5 and higher GPA during the 2022-2023 school year will receive free admission to Audubon Aquarium, Audubon Insectarium, Audubon Zoo, and NOMA. The student’s school must participate in the program for the student to be eligible.

Lost Your Taylor Scholars Award Certificate?
If the Taylor Scholars Award Certificate is lost, the student must bring their 1st semester report card with a photo ID to Audubon Aquarium, Audubon Insectarium, Audubon Zoo, or NOMA to request a new Taylor Scholar Awards Certificate. The Taylor Scholar Awards Certificate will be used to gain free tickets to Audubon Aquarium, Audubon Insectarium, Audubon Zoo, or NOMA.
How do I use my Taylor Scholars award?
Taylor Scholars receive FREE admission for the Taylor Scholar and two guests on days the facilities are open to the public.
To reserve tickets to Audubon Aquarium, Audubon Insectarium, Audubon Zoo, Taylor Scholars should bring their Taylor Scholars Awards certificate to Audubon Zoo, Aquarium, or Insectarium Membership window to visit. Visit AudubonNatureInstitute.org/taylor to learn more.
Visit NOMA.org/learn/teens/taylornoma-scholars-program/ to reserve tickets to NOMA.
When is Taylor Family Free Day?
Taylor Family Free Day at Audubon Zoo is Thursday, August 3, 2023. Taylor Family Free Day at NOMA is Saturday, July 8, 2023.
On Taylor Family Free Day, Taylor Scholars may bring up to four guests.

*Please note: Special events and exhibits at participating institutions may require advance ticket reservations if they are capacity controlled by entry time. For everyday visits, simply check in at the admission gate with your Taylor card and Student ID.
